Igloo Guide and Tips!

How to Get Ideas, Coins, Crowds and Much More! 

 

I have gotten alot of questions about my igloos and other igloo related topics on Club Penguin, so I decided to make a igloo guide for those who want to know the steps that I follow. It's an A-Z guide- all the way from getting igloo ideas to getting crowds in your igloo! I will add another step to this guide every Tuesday (Igloo Tip Tuesdays?).  Hope this helps! :)  

 

1. Getting  a Creative Igloo Idea

There are many ways to come up with  ideas for your igloo. The ones listed are ways that I get mine and how to find ideas if you can't come up with your own:

 

- Recreate a scene or place from your favorite book, movie, game etc. ( make sure it's a popular   book/movie/game so people will recognise what it is).

-Frankenstien togethor more then one common igloo idea (Ex: Spa & Mall).

- Check out my blog for ideas ( please give credit if you do!)

- Ask for igloo ideas at the town or ask your buddies for ideas.

- See what other penguins are making in the town. If you see a  brand-new igloo idea that only one penguin has, ask them for permission first because they might say you copied them!

 

   2. Get Coins!

There are many fun games in Club Penguin, but my favorite for getting coins the fastest is cart surfer! There are many tricks that you can do (one move can get you 100 points!). Be sure that before you get coins check to see if you already have the items needed for your igloo or that they are available in the catolog! Check the video to see how to get over 3000 points (300 coins!!)  in about 2 minutes. It will take a while to get the hang of it, but don't give up! This is the best non-cheat/coin code way of getting coins!

-The Backflip- press down arrow then spacebar (100 points but 50 if repeated right after)

-The Spin- press spacebar then left or right arrow (80 points but 40 if repeated right after)

- Grinding Corners- when turning corners hold down arrow then left or right arrow until the turn is over
- It's also a good idea to crash every once in a while because it makes the game longer.

 

  3. Design your igloo! 

If you want to make your igloo look AMAZING follow this step!

1.The Layout:
-First, try to imagine what you want to make if it was real then replace that with CP furniture.
-To make use of the item limit:
  *Start out with the walls, doorways and flooring.
  *Add in the most important items.
  * Fill in with detail.

2. Tips for decorating:

-When your designing a popular igloo like a college or kingdom, put your own spin on it. One of the main reasons an igloo can't get crowds is because most penguins have "been there, done that" and are searching for something new and fun. 

- Try going with a certain look. If your making a kingdom, it wouldn't make sense to use the Santa chair as a throne! Instead, opt for the pink princess throne, regal chair or the blue or red throne. 

- Match colors. Not to say that everything has to be green, but try going with a color scheme. Even colors like orange and purple can look good togethor.

- Don't make your igloo messy. I know I have trouble with this sometimes; I have so many ideas to put into one igloo that it ends up looking like i'm a furniture hoarder XD. The same goes for the opposite: make use of the 99 item limit!

- Use items as somthing else. Just turning items can tottaly change them! For example, you can spin chairs around to make them as walls and put the soccer net over them to look like a window. 

 

4. Getting crowds!

Alot of people already know this, but if your new to igloo making this will help alot!!

- Go onto Abominable or another popular server.

- Come up with an advertisement.

 *Make it all caps with exclemation marks until you can't fit anymore characters. 

 * Highlight your ad, right click then press copy. Click enter, then right click the text box and press paste to resay it without having to retype it.

 *Ask somone if it shows.

 * If you want to become popular for your igloos, instead of saying, "...AT MY IGLOO!" you can    say your penguins name. (sometimes it won't show so try spelling it in a differently or give yourself a nickname). 

- Get a friend to help advertise with you, in another place, or when you go to your igloo.

- If you want to keep ads out of your igloo, you can hire a friend to stay at the party and make them leave.

- Dance in the town or plaza, alternating between saying your ad and describing your igloo.

- If you have a twitter account or somthing like it with lots of CP followers, tell them about your party!!

- If you make CP videos, say your recording and make a video about it! Penguins will definitely go! You can even make a video before the party telling them the server, day and penguin standard time it will be.
